Mircare FZE LLC (“We”, “Us”, “Our”, “Mircare”) may include two types of information about you that we obtain as a result of your use of the websitemircare.com/en-gb/ and/or any affiliated website and/or related domains (and/or subdomains)mircare.com/en-gb/ (hereinafter referred to as the “website” or “site”), namely:

  • personal information, including your first and last name;
  • aggregate information obtained from our practices regarding cookies and Internet Protocol addresses (“IP addresses”) of website users.

By browsing or using our websites, you agree that we may store and access cookies and other tracking technologies described in this Cookie Policy.

Please read the following information carefully about how and why the site uses your IP address and cookies. If you do not accept or agree with the practices described in this Policy, please leave this site immediately.

IP address

1. What happens when you visit the site

Every time you connect to the Internet or use a persistent connection such as broadband or ADSL, when you turn on or restart your computer you are automatically assigned a unique identification number known as an IP address. This IP address contains information about your computer's location on the Internet (country of origin) and the name of your Internet Service Provider ("ISP"), and is automatically logged by the site.

2. What is an IP address?

When you first access the Internet (i.e., your computer connects to the Internet), your computer is automatically assigned a unique number (usually about 9 or 10 decimal numbers) known as an IP address. This is your computer's unique address on the Internet. Websites use your IP address to deliver content to you; without an IP address, websites will not be able to find your computer on the Internet.

Accordingly, every time you disconnect and reconnect to the Internet, your computer is automatically assigned a new IP address. IP addresses inherently do not identify you as an individual (at least not on their own and not in combination with other identifiers). However, an IP address contains information about your computer's location on the Internet (country) and the name of your Internet service provider.

3. How do we obtain your IP address?

Every time you visit a page on the site, your computer sends a message asking you to accept the requested content. This message, sent by your computer, also contains your IP address as a form of "return address" so that the website can identify your computer and send the requested content. Our web server automatically logs all these messages.

4. What do we do with your IP address?

When we log your IP address, the data collected is grouped with other logged IP addresses, from which we compile statistics about the geographic location of our site visitors, how long they stay on the site, and which pages are the most viewed. and for other statistical reasons that may be relevant to our business.

IP addresses are automatically collected and stored in log files. These files also contain information about your browser type, Internet service provider, operating system, date/time, traffic data and data viewed on the site. Collecting this type of information allows us to generate aggregate information for the purposes of developing the site, including in terms of general trends and user activities on the Internet (for example, the number of unique visitors, most frequently visited and viewed pages, or search terms entered), which also allows us administer the site, diagnose any potential server problems, analyze visitor trends and statistics, and generally help us improve your online experience.

IP addresses are not stored longer than necessary for the above purposes.

Cookies

1. What are cookies?

Using cookies, the site distinguishes you from other users. Cookies allow us to analyze trends and administer the site to provide a better user experience, as well as to develop and improve the site.

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that is stored in your browser or on your computer's hard drive if you consent. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. The cookie allows a website to remember users who have already visited that site. Without cookies, when you open a new web page, the server that stores that page will treat you as a completely new visitor. Cookies allow us to remember your user preferences, such as language preferences, and allow you to complete tasks without having to re-enter information while browsing.

Cookies typically contain the name of the website from which the cookie was received, the lifetime of the cookie, and a randomly generated unique number. Websites typically use this number to ensure that you are recognized when you return to a website, as you move from page to page within the same website, and to ensure that any information you enter is remembered.

2. What types of cookies do we use?

Our website uses different types of cookies on the home page, including:

  • Session cookies, which disappear when you log out and close your browser;
  • Persistent cookies that remain on your device until you or your browser delete them or until they expire;
  • Essential cookies associated with the domain you are visiting;
  • Third-party cookies associated with a domain other than the one you are visiting.

In addition to the cookies listed above, other standard technologies are used such as web beacons, web bugs, clear gifs, local storage objects (such as HTML5 and Flash) and scripts. They help provide the functionality described in these Terms.

Web beacons are typically small, transparent graphic images that are placed on a website or in an email. Web beacons allow a website to record the simple actions of a user who opens a page containing a web beacon. Because web beacons are similar to other content on a web page, you cannot disable or opt out of them, but they may become ineffective if you change your browser's cookie setting to decline cookies.
